A new unique method to help contain and remove particles, the size of known viruses and pathogens from facilities.
How are HEPA filters defined?
HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) is a type of pleated mechanical air filter, that can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns.
with a MERV rating of 16+ can remove 99.25% of sub micron particles with a size of 0.1 microns. By removing much smaller particles this makes it possible to capture known pathogens that cannot be removed with traditional air filters.
With Sanders Filters 99.25% efficiency at 0.1 microns now makes it possible for you to capture particles the size of pathogens, such as influenza A, H1N1, viruses, bacteria and fungi without retrofitting your HVAC system.
Why Sanders Filters?
For the first time, a filter allows for HEPA or near-HEPA filtration without the need for a retrofit of the HVAC system in your home, school, offices and other facilities using Sanders Filters.
Since our material is a flat cut pad, it can be placed over your current basic pleated filter. By simply cutting out the middle of your pleated filter - you can make a temporary frame while a survey is conducted of your facility and we can place a TPS Frame in your HVAC system.
Sanders TPS Frames
A gap as small as 1 in. x .25 in. in the installation of any MERV filter can reduce it a full number in efficiency. (Ashrae) What does this mean? It means that if you purchase a MERV 13 filter in a normal throwaway frame & it has a 1mm gap on each side, that filter is now a MERV 9. This is why our TPS Frame is so important!
Our TPS Frame is made from commercial grade PVC & flexible PVC gaskets. It is able to be custom manufactured for your filter needs! It is guaranteed for 10 years. This means you simply buy the replacement pads after your first order. This saves on shipping, storage, and disposal fees for your company.
